Sony Sketch app Community still alive?

Sony Sketch is no longer available for support and the community features are all gone. There is an alternative though in the form of Paintology.

This app has all the capabilities of the Sony sketch and more but also has modern chat features for likes, sharing and following other artists. Check it out!

You probably have got the notice that the community part of the sketch app was going to be closed down. The notice appears when you open up the Sketch app on your tablet or phone. The date of closure is clearly stated as 30th September, 2019. Guess what, ladies and gentlemen, I just managed to share a post with the community and its 1st October, 2019!

There maybe reasons why this has happened, possibly due to the large volume of users who have not yet downloaded their zip files. It could be that Sony has other plans for the community service. We simply don’t know.
