In the main range of apps by the guise of Paint by Numbers found in the Google play store, the method of coloring is different.

Basically, you are provided with a paint by number image and you tap in the regions to fill the colors. This is naturally not as in the traditional sense of painting which is to use a brush and color that region.

Fortunately there are some apps that take the traditional method of painting by numbers on to the digital platform. One such app is the Paintology Paint by Numbers app. This way of coloring is also available in the main Paintology app. Links and downloads are all provided at the end of the post.

On this paint by numbers method of coloring, you basically have to color the region using your finger or a stylus. With this approach you are able to improve your drawing and artistic skills unlike the previous method mentioned.
