Paint by numbers or painting by numbers is a very popular hobby amongst people who want to get into drawing and painting. The paint by numbers kit that you get in hobby stores comes in the form of a numbered canvas and pots of paints with brushes. You simply apply the paint pots that are numbered to the various regions on the canvas. Once you go through all the numbered region, you should have a completed Paint by numbers painting to frame and hang on your wall!
Did you also know that you can now do Paint by Numbers right on your phone or tablet. All you need is an Android phone and the Paintology app from the Google store. Once installed go to the Tutorials section and you will see loads of drawings to suit everyone’s taste!

Block Coloring

Digital Drawing
The digital drawing medium is not as complicated as many make out. You should look at this medium like any other traditional drawing mediums. Think of your phone and tablets as a drawing device just like pencil and paper. In actual fact, you don’t need to use all the tools of the drawing apps to make drawings, you can stick to one brush and draw just like with pencil and paper.
Most of the drawings made with the Paintology app are actually done with one or two brushes and selecting the colors from the color palette. With practice, you can make many types of drawings including pencil drawings like the one shown below.
