Draw a colored hibiscus flower – Paintology #9950
The hibiscus flower is trending subject for many artists.
This is because the flower has elements that are very attractive to the eye. The long petals and the elongated stem that blossoms to a perforated soft buds.
Artists prefer to draw the hibiscus flower in various mediums, including acrylics, watercolors, pencils, pastels and now in digital!

Once you have downloaded and installed the app, just search for the tutorial #9950 and this will automatically load the template for you to draw over. You will find the hard part of the work is already done for you where the blocks for the flower is done and all you need is the shade brush to complete the drawing.
To get better control over your shade brush, you need to adjust the size and zoom in to do the details of the drawing. I recommend that you watch the video from start to finish to get an idea of the steps I take in the drawing. You don’t have to follow exactly the process that I take, just do what you find comfortable.
If you are a beginner, I suggest that you try out the many methods of drawing to become comfortable with the app and also improve the basics skills of drawing in this medium.
You may want to try out the pencil drawing method of drawing if you are familiar with pencil or charcoal drawing. The Paint by numbers coloring method is great to develop your skills and provides the foundation to make your own colored drawings or paintings.
