Make this ‘frogs’ drawing on your phone – Paintology #9872
This drawing can be considered as a photo realistic drawing but it is remarkably easier than you think to make this drawing.

I have explained in details that drawing in the digital medium is somewhat misunderstood by many traditional artists. They assume that technical mastery of the digital medium is required to somehow make any drawings or paintings in the digital medium. This cannot be so further from the truth. I go into more details in the post below.
I come from a traditional drawing and painting background and I use digital as another medium to practice my art skills and creations. Unlike many other digital artists, I do not resort to the fancy digital tools to make my drawings and I only rely on a brush and selecting the colors. This may seem rudimentary to many already accomplished digital artists out there but the truth as they say is in the pudding!
You can see from the video above that I use one brush and just change gray tones to make the drawing. It is not easy to tell whether this drawing was done on digital or traditional.
If you are interested in moving to digital forget all the noise by other artists who promote features over drawing or painting skills and think of the digital medium like I do! Extend your traditional artistic skills to this new medium and you will feel right at home with the digital medium.
