This is a great coloring exercise where you can practice coloring without being too conscious about your work. This is because the coloring is not distinctive just like the original scene which appears blurred. You could say it is an abstract form of coloring.

When you have the drawing opened in your phone or tablet, try to have the complete image opened elsewhere. That is, have another tablet or phone showing the completed image so you can use as reference for your own drawing. Also, you could use the trace facility that this coloring has been provided to alternate between your canvas and the actual image.

The Paint by Numbers coloring tutorials are great fun to do but you should look at the whole exercise as a way to improve your overall drawing and painting skills. With this aim in mind, you can push your skills to do creative drawing and painting and make your own unique works of art.

Now save the image and try to follow the subtle differences in the original picture and the one you did. You can surely find some ways where you can ‘enhance’ your painting to make it closer to the original. This is indeed great practice for you and launch you into your own unique styles and form of artwork.
